🎬 PART 2: "The Billionaire's Signature"

The entire outdoor wedding went dead silent.
The laughter from the wealthy guests died instantly.
Champagne glasses remained frozen halfway to lips.
Vanessa’s hand holding the microphone began to tremble.
“Julian…” she whispered, her voice cracking.
“What are you talking about? He’s a nobody!”
“Shut up!” Julian hissed.
His face was completely translucent with terror.
Sweat dripped down his sharp jawline onto his tuxedo.
Arthur Vance didn’t look at them.
He kept his eyes on Clara.
He gently buttoned his tailored jacket around her shaking shoulders.
“Are you okay, my love?” Arthur asked softly.
Clara nodded, wiping a tear from her cheek.
“I am now,” she whispered.
Arthur finally turned his gaze toward the altar.
His eyes were like two pieces of solid ice.
“Julian,” Arthur said, his voice echoing without a microphone.
“I believe your father’s logistics company signed a merger yesterday.”
“A merger with Vance International.”
Julian’s knees literally buckled.
He had to grab the altar rail to stay standing.
“Yes, Mr. Vance…” Julian stammered. “Please, my wife didn’t know—”
“She knew enough to broadcast it,” Arthur cut him off.
Arthur pulled a sleek black smartphone from his pocket.
He didn’t dial a number.
He just pressed a single button on a live document.
“The merger requires my final signature by midnight,” Arthur said.
He looked directly into Vanessa’s wide, terrified eyes.
“Consider it canceled.”
The groom’s mother in the front row screamed.
The family empire was gone in a split second.
Vanessa gasped, her mouth opening and closing like a fish.
“You can’t do that! This is our wedding!”
Arthur smiled, a cold, predatory expression.

“It’s your ruin, Vanessa.”
“And it’s about to get worse.”
